Southern Pre-Grading Session at the Littledown Centre, Bournemouth on Sunday, 18th January 2009

This course is open to all brown and black belts students, and not just those people planning to test later in the year.

We are very lucky in the EGKA to have so many high ranking seventh, sixth and fifth Dans. As the EGKA Chief Instructor, Sensei Ernie has embarked on a long term campaign to make sure that accumulated skill base is transferred downwards with the aim of really lifting the standard of karate for all brown and lower black belts across the country. This course is the second of the series that is working towards that goal.

Be prepared for a challenge. The afternoon will grab your interest and test your metal.

Every junior and senior brown and black belt contemplating grading later this year in June or December will certainly benefit by attending this course. Apart from gaining a better understanding of the standard they will be expected to achieve on the day of their grading .... they will have a chance to train with the people they will almost certainly be grading with, not to mention meet the instructors who will be assessing them.

The training times are:

• Junior (18 and under) black and brown belts - 12:00 to 14:00
• Senior (over 18) black and brown belts - 14:30 until 17:30
