Northern EGKA Advanced (Pre-Grading) Training Course
for Brown and Black Belts
at the 12 Quays, Woodchurch Dojo on 22nd February 2009

This will be the third in the series of EGKA advanced training courses for both junior and senior higher grades to be led by Senseis Mike Draper and Steve Gouldson. The course will concentrate on kihon, kata, bunkai, ippon kumite and yakasoku kumite with the intention of demonstrating how these techniques should be performed.

The course is open to all junior and senior brown and black belts, and not just those who will be grading in the near future. The recent Southern course attracted over forty senior brown and black belt grades who welcomed the chance to come together and train again so soon after the New Year. So we hope the northern regional dojo members will make the effort to ensure a good turnout on Sunday morning.

Those contemplating grading later in the year are certainly going to benefit from attending this course. It is not only a case of giving you a chance to meet and train with the people you will be grading with. It is an opportunity for the Grading Panel Senseis to train with you and give you an idea of the areas you may need to work on before the day.

    

The training times are:

• Junior (18 and under) black and brown belts - 9:30 to 10:30
• Senior (over 18) black and brown belts - 9:30 until 13:00
