EGKA Public Liability Policy Risk Insurance

The EGKA maintains Public Liability insurance cover. A copy of the current EGKA insurance policy certificate can be downloaded by clicking here.

MartialGuard Instructor Insurance (TL Risk Solutions)

It is mandatory that all EGKA recognised instructors and assistant instructors maintain their own personal instructor indemnity insurance.

Although instructors are able to choose who they insure with, many use TL Risks Solutions.

When you visit the TL Risk website, select the left hand menu option ‘How to Apply’, then select option 1 ‘Buy your Martial Guard Instructors Insurance online now’.

When asked to name the association you are connected with, you must enter "English Goju Ryu Karate Association" in full before carrying out a search. Using just the EGKA abbreviation does not work.

Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) Disclosure Service

The EGKA has adopted a new method of obtaining a CRB check for its intructors and people who hold a position of trust in the EGKA, or at dojo level.
